Hello everyone! I am getting a fresh start on a new blog. I think I have this figured out this time. I wanted to give everyone an update of the things that are happening in the Porter House. We moved back from Florida (for many reason) and we are living in New Castle. Billet is still playing hockey with the Tampa Bay Lightning team for tournaments. They just went to Chicago for the National Championships and WON! Billet scored the game winner. Next stop for him is World Championships in Buffalo, New York over Christmas break. We are so proud of him and for all of his accomplishments thus far.
It was definitely a temperature change for us driving back from Florida. When we pulled out of Florida it was 82 degrees, as we pulled into Colorado we were welcomed with the first snow falling. WOW! It's cold here!
We have all pretty much fell back into a routine here, although shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops are not a good idea for school anymore. :)
I am excited about finishing my student teaching. I have 8 weeks left and will finish it starting in January. Then, who knows what the Lord has in store for us.
What I know now is that I have a great family and know that there are many more great adventures in store for us!
